Laboratory Test of a Vehicle Active Noise-Control System Based on an Adaptive Step Size Algorithm

NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness) is a key factor affecting vehicle comfort. Compared with traditional sound absorption isolation methods, active noise control (ANC) offers significant advantage in solving the problem of low- medium-frequency from road surfaces. However, classic filtered-x least mean squares (FxLMS) algorithm ineffective terms adapting to different noises ensure stable reduction effect when facing complex changeable environment moving vehicles. Therefore, an adaptive step size (ASSFxLMS) proposed this paper, which can adjust according reference signal stability process. In order improve performance algorithm, particle swarm optimization also used automatically parameters, so that always maintains relatively ideal size. The simulated pulse standard S?S distribution was as for simulation. simulation results show compared other algorithms, under degrees conditions, stability, amplitude are improved. further verify feasibility reduction, paper conducted hardware-in-the-loop experiment laboratory, employing data collected by real vehicle. Under interior noise-control system has maximum 12 dB low-frequency below 100 Hz.
